Blue Springs State Park is located in Central Florida, an easy drive from Orlando. It's one of Florida's several scenic springs. In addition to the beautiful water, fish, turtles, and manatees (winter) can be seen here. There is a boardwalk going around the springs. There is also a hiking trail, I didn't have time to hike it but the map said it is 3.6 miles. During the manatee season when I was there, swimming was not allowed but you could take kayaks out into the main river (not the springs).
Of course it's Florida, so there were birds, alligators, and turtles.
and fish
and finally the manatees! There are quite a few manatees that utilize this spring.
